What have I been up to?

Nothing much. I did do something somewhat exciting on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday though, which was great. I realised I have been shopping way much more these days mainly because I just feel like it. I usually don't enjoy shopping because I get distressed by salesgirls who follow me everywhere and start telling me the prices of whatever I touch. I really don't mind the genuinely helpful/friendly ones because nice people are so wonderful to meet but it gets my goat when salesgirls or men or she-men start to eye me suspiciously/trail me like I'm going to nick something. In which I don't have the guts or the low morale to do so.
So last week I went out with the ever so lovely Nadya . When I was waiting for her at cck, there were these promoters who were literally pouncing on people. This really passionate dude in a grey shirt was going around saying things like "Take it! It's free! It's a free dessert why won't you take it!!?" while thrusting some papers in a stranger's face. Not weird at all. Their presence was quite unsettling because I wasn't up for dessert, free or not. So i tried to blend in with the barricade in an attempt to be invisible. It didn't work because Nadya found me quite easily a few minutes later.
We went ahead to window shop/shop but there really isn't much at Lot One. We bought matching earpieces (yay!) and kind of matching notebooks at this really cute stationery place called The Paper Stone. She got the pink and I got the blue. I figured I don't really use the school handbook anyway because its just not my kind of thing. So i'd rather write in something I find pretty. Ok what am I rambling about..
After that, we decided to get chewy junior because we both skipped that part in the morning where people have breakfast. I have such a crap appetite in the mornings. But the caramel fudge chewy junior made up for it,it was so yummy! Later on, we met up with Arina R (yay!) and travelled all the way to Junction 10 for donuts. Or in me and Nadya's case, beverages. Arina spent the whole time complaining about how slow the LRT was HAHA. In her defence, the LRT really is the slowest form of transport in Singapore. Junction 10 happens to be the most un-happening mall in Singapore. Its so quiet and unoccupied... Then a while later Arina got hungry for chicken so we travelled back to Lot One by bus (its faster than the LRT) to have KFC. So this kind of was an eating trip haha. It was fun nonetheless:) My 'eating trip' was further extended when I ended up having Nandos for dinner and glazed donut + chocomint frappe for dessert. Hardcore.
A day before that, I went to Vivo to buy some clothes from Uniqlo. My sister spent most of the time thanking the salespeople when they shouted 'Welcome To Uniqlo'. Now you know... 'weird' runs in the family. Then on Tuesday we went out with R and the gang to East Coast where we did the usual Beach-y stuff. Cycled to the jetty, ate apples on those water breaker/barrier things, made ugly sand'castles' and ate chips on the mat. We later went to Little India for dinner where I had the best cheese naan ever. All in all I enjoyed myself, it was a much needed change from my usual routine where I mope around my room waiting to get in the mood to study. Oh yeah. The joys of being a student.
