The past two weeks have been great and not so great at the same time but let's focus on the good stuff that's happened:-)
- Valentine's day was nice, i didn't expect to get anything but thank you to whoever went the extra mile to get me/make me things. Appreciate it a whole lot!I love you all. And I love whoever didn't give me anything too,of course! I think I will miss Valentine's day in Crescent. :'( Much thanks to Tobi for the unexpectedly large gift. I wasn't expecting anything, she already gave me a jar of candy before that.So generous hehe thanksss :') Best secret valentine :D
- Fell sick and had a two day break from school, which I think was much needed.
- Surprised Li Enn yesterday with Charmaine and Leona yesterday- it was her birthday. We made a really hectic trip from school to Yio Chu Kang and we crashed her house/ had maggi for lunch because time constraints.Oh, and cake too-courtesy of Laila :)
- The Crucible was okay, it was the second play I've ever watched in all my 16 years of living haha. I was kind of surprised that some lines were quite funny-everyone would start laughing during the funny parts. In the book itself, everything was so dismal and desolate and dramatic. Nothing funny about that... Proctor was super intense though. He should sign up for some anger management sessions. Anyway, after the play was over, Hidayah said that this guy behind us said "So who's Abigail?"Someone's been paying attention HAHA
- Hidayah and I made quite a trip home, just realised how far Bugis is from Bukit Panjang :( We got lost in some mall at 11+ in the night. So we just walked aimlessly around until we found the bus stop which was packed so lalalala we ended up in the mrt station. And my dad had to pick me up at 12 am at CCK because it was just way too early. I ended up having supper alone and went to bed at 2 am. But I fell asleep at 3 because the usual insomnia haha. I'm so hardcore huh. Rock and roll material ;)
Hope everyone has had a good week!
'Long' weekend...

So... I didn't do much over the weekend besides spending quality time with books. School books and good books. And...i kind of did something genius by my standards. I GOT CRAFTY. I mean, you could call it crafty. But to others its really just a fool-proof/dummy-proof project. In short, I put some glitter in a jar. Lol. Charmaine tweeted about it the other day and I thought that since I had the resources already, why not do something mildly purposeful? So, I made a
calm jar.Save for a few spills and scalding myself with hot water, i guess you could call it a success.
I was thinking of putting the figurine Charlotte got for the team a few years back on the jar lid to make it snowglobe-esque but then i realised i didn't really want to doom the purdy sovenir to living in a jar perpetually. Besides, it is made out of wood. Geez, i'm so logical.
It was fun. I think i'll go make another one soon. I made this jar with the intention of giving it to someone else, but it has since been sitting on my desk and it looks pretty so i kind of want one too haha.
Anyway, CNY celebrations in school was quite fun:) Got drenched to the bone because it was raining so heavily. Besides, all my friends have the same problem as me- we just refuse to bring umbrellas to school. So the three of us-Nadhira, Hidayah and I ended up trying to squeeze under one umbrella that Nadhira managed to get from Celine hahaha.I bet she nicked it ;) Anyway, just in case you're curious- one umbrella does not provide any shelter whatsoever for three people. We had lunch at Takashimaya later, still completely drenched-soggy socks, transparent blouse and all. I like eating out with these two :')We always have the funniest, most insightful and free-flowing conversations. Good friends+ good food = a day well spent. All in all, last week has been quite interesting :) Hope everyone enjoyed their CNY celebrations/ (NOT) long weekend. Honestly, i'd consider at least six days a long weekend, not four... Then again six days wouldn't exactly be a weekend. Hmm.
